Cannabis Strains 02/10-08/10

Here are a handful of cannabis strains experienced by myself from Feb. 2010 - Aug. 2010 throughout the state of Colorado, primarily Boulder County. Includes varieties of cannabis from sativa to indica, basic to connoisseur status. All samples were received from licensed medical marijuana centers in compliance with Amendment 20. Included are links to general photos of the strains, hoping to get my own photos up for future posts. Enjoy.

Dutch Treat (Sativa - Colorado) This was the first strain I ever purchased from a dispensary, a very nice sativa dominant strain. Wispy bud structure, very nicely coated calyxes. An all around good smoke with an almost musky smell, hazy taste, and uplifting high. Would love to find it again, not as readily available as other strains.
Papaya (Citral #13 x Ice #2) Fruity flavor and scent as expected. Trichrome coverage wasn't the greatest in my sample but was still a decent smoke. Not too memorable but I'd be willing to try it again to see this strain's potential.
Chrystal (White Widow x Northern Lights) An excellent strain from an in-house grower at Crossroads Wellness, Chrystal has got to be one of my favorite. Smells a lot like Fruity Pebbles, has nice creamy orange pistils and lots of trichromes. A great marriage of two highly celebrated strains, what can I say I would definitely get more of this stuff if it comes around.
NYC Diesel (Sour Diesel x Afghani x Hawaiian) Classic strain that gets the recognition it deserves. You can't go wrong with good genetics and NYC Diesel always seems to get me very stoned. Pleasant diesel flavor melds well with the tropical traits of the Hawaiian.
Afgooey (Maui Haze x Afghani #1) First thing one will notice about this strain is the very unique, pleasant aroma. Afgooey is very floral and tasty, and a heavy indica to say the least. This stuff is great for getting super stoned and relaxing.
